felt good. 10-20 second water breaks at 1K (warm up), 3K turn around, 5K. Did not really push it but i did try the temp/glide/easy run thingy around 3-5K (which includes the KM of doom). one mailbox/hydro pole high temp, one mailbox/hydro pole glide, 2 m/hp easy.
swim in the lake to cool down. Watched the little fishies investigate my orange shorts!
