Struggled. Been sick for a few weeks and just havent felt like I've been getting good oxygen uptake. Started out ok over first half mile around 5:08 pace but quickly receded to a slow 5:15. Mile 2 should have been a fast mile but only gave up even more distance on first and really fell apart. Mile 3 started with me getting passed by my old professor's son. I did manage to keep him close and with about 0.5 to go, I passed him before we turned onto Webster and held on for second. Still, it was really disappointing to run almost 40 seconds slower than I did 2 months ago at Biggsteps. Patrick Caron took the win with a solid sub 16 performance. Even if I ran as I had hoped, I was targeting just over 16 so probably didnt have a chance for the win today. I need to find my speed again.
