Decided to take advantage of fresh pond and alewife brook parkway since I had the daylight on my side. Felt good this morning, just cruised along. One tough mile (I think mile 7 perhaps) along the alewife brook path where it was slippery hard pack ice and had to let pace slip a bit at times, but otherwise conditions weren't too bad except for minor patches of black ice that were easy to get through.
