Notes
Attempted run down by the river the day after the latest snowfall. Conditions varied. Slippery around Harvard Square, snow picked up around the foot bridge and continued pretty much to the MOS. Boston side fared a little better at spots. Between MOS and BU bridge, conditions were almost pavement, but patches of black ice. Past the BU Bridge was terrible. Every step was on uneven frozen slush which I'm sure was great for my ankle. Past River Street, things improved to simple packed snow.
Would have preferred to have the pace throughout be more consistent with the latter half of the run. Difficult finding good footing in the first half of the run in the dark and a little fatigue to start out. Felt comfortable during the second half. Pace was relaxed, even running through all the crap out there.
