Post hike, once again tried to get in an early January run in from the starting line to Wellesley. Would have loved some more sub 6:00 miles but really struggled to get into gear. Didnt bear down too hard but probably could have fought harder. Overall goal was keeping the pace comfortable but still pushing. Didnt want this to get into a race. Still, would have loved this to feel easier at a quicker pace.
