Decided to put in a tempo effort this morning in the form of a progression. After 1 mile of warmup, targeted a 6:00 mile with the original goal being 6:00, 5:45, 5:45, 5:30, 5:30). Mile one was a bit quick with the next two just barely missing the target, mile 4 was close but 5 was a miss, in part due to not working the uphills hard enough. Overall felt good with the effort nonetheless.
