Brutal. Started out with Steve Curley of HFC for the first 3+ miles. On the third hill, I lost contact with him and he pulled away. That was the theme for the rest of the day, watching runners blow by me. I got to the top of the last early hill and was ready to grind the fast miles and there was just nothing there. Normally miles 5-9 are a solid stretch of 5 miles of low 5:20's and instead I couldn't get below 5:30 and more often was on the higher side. I had nothing the last few miles. It was me vs the lead women pace car and just barely finished ahead of the top woman.
About 90 seconds slower than last year. Not a fun day.
