Notes
Woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground. Nothing significant, just a hair over 1/4 of an inch, but enough to make some spots slippery (mainy due to the ice underneath) and more importantly, enough to cover up the potholes and other bumps that made each step a fun guessing game. Pace was pretty slow, in part due to the cold (wind is what killed), stress from work, and uneven footing (more from sidewalks that werent cleared from the previous storm). Entire run felt easy but at the same time never pushed the pace as the splits show. My body felt like I was probably going easy 7:00's but was a good 30 seconds slower. I guess a slow day here and there arent a bad thing to have, but need to make sure this isnt the norm.
