Marathon in a few days so that means the workout tonight is the Lou Ristiano workout - 4800 continuous with each 800 being 4 seconds faster - start at MP and go from there. For me, that meant goals of 2:56, 2:52, 2:48, 2:44, 2:40, 2:36. I pretty much hit all the splits within 1 second with the exception of the second to last one but overall pacing was spot on.

I ended up doing it solo as nobody wanted to go out at this pace although Sean made an appearance and joined for the first two 800's. The start felt easy and although there was a little bit of effort over the last 800 or so, that's expected at 5:10 pace but at the same time I never felt like I was racing or overworking. This was the first positive workout I've had in awhile. Happy with today's result.
