Went the podiatrist yesterday for the left foot pain. It's definitely related to the sesamoid, just unsure if it is sesamoidis or a stress fracture. MRI this week will hopefully diagnose the issue. Boston appears to be gone now, which sucks because I felt like I had a chance to get in a nice run and enjoy the experience without the usual racing wear and tear. I do believe 2:50-3:00 was very do-able. It's weird, I have been able to run a bunch over the past week without pain (as opposed to the metatarsal sfx where I couldn't run 5 feet). I guess we'll see what the imaging comes back with, still need to get that scheduled.
