What a great run! I got first! in the amateur division... No one really had anything in the tank at the end. Thing is, I could've gone faster but I just coasted to the finish... too bad really, maybe I could've broken 4:50! I honestly think my 'all out' race form was somewhere closer to 4:45... Basically what happened was I got 800m into the race and moved up on people consistently. I didn't realize how close the finish was until it was too late to do anything about it as far as huge pace swings were concerned.
