Arid, deserty, steep. These are decriptors for the hike/run that I did. It was easy on the way down despite the 3000ft. elevation.
The hot springs were good too! ~30 people, all very friendly. Lots of dogs. lots of campers and some alcohol. Still a good time.
I met "Mayor Dave" there and he was very knowledgeable of the springs and their history.
