Did this as part of PCC Interstate 2012 training, with Ewe Cheong accompanying me cycling and Chin Chin as support car driver. We start from Villa Emas which is about 10.5km from Pg Ferry Terminal, took the ferry to Butterworth and start from Butterworth Ferry Terminal.
The first half of the ride is not very pleasant, there are many traffic lights and the road are dusty from construction. Did our first stop in Nibong Tebal and the sun has beginning to crept up. After Nibong Tebal, road condition is better and there's a lot less traffic light. Road are wider and flatter, and headwind also increase at the same time.
2nd stop was at Bagan Serai town. Refill water and we pedal another 10km down to meet Chin Chin and a short short rest. After that is where my sufferings begin. I was really tired and my left calf feels like cramping up whenever I push harder.
3rd stop at Econ Save Kamunting.
