Woke up to wet, cool, drizzly, windy conditions. Got up to my hill neighborhood and had a showdown with a turtle. Damn thing wouldn't stay off the road and there are teenagers that speed through there in the dark and I didn't want to see splattered turtle on the road so kept scooting him off with my foot just to find him back in the road on my next loop. Last I saw him he was on the edge of the road, with his neck outstreched and head held high as if to say, "Touch me again and I'll bite your toe off!". Running-wise, tried to stay at tempo effort for an hour. Have no idea what my real pace was because the rain knocked out my running watch. Hopefully it comes back! To hill x 6 plus twice around Ellinwood.
