Thorlo socks, white skirt, short sleeve shirt. 3 gu's 2 or 3 succeed. at 4m, 8m, 11.6. Ran out of water at 10, then got water at 10.5, ran out again at 11.2 or so, when I took the last GU. Dennis brought some toward me and met me with about .6m to go. This was a great run. Usual start, then Skunk Canyon to Fischer Point Trail, to Fischer point overlook up the steep switch back trail. Then trail on top to road 301 (about.3 or .6 m to that), then to mile 6.4 or so on the road 301 til it intersected with the Flagstaff Loop trail, where I turned left. This was where I crossed the road 301 yesterday, but should have turned right instead to go toward the upper Fischer point. Nice wide road there, then the trail on the flagstaff loop was nice and easy down, then on the flatter stuff back to the road at the top of my normal loop. I decided to take the winding, rocky way down, as it would be more shaded and I'd already been on Skunk Canyon route already today. Total would have been a little under 13, but I made it 13.1 by running through gate at bottom of our place and onto the street for a little bit. I think I could have found an even shorter way to connect with Flagstaff loop trail by taking the trail that started about .4m down from top of Fisher point toward road 9112C; i think it would have intersected a little bit more directly than the way I went.
