FINALLY. Raced.
Today felt so much better. I raced. Went out with Erin and Mara in 6:24 (aiming for 6:20-25) and felt like I moved pretty well through the second mile (even though it slowed down to 13:04 for a 6:40 split), catching up with Catherine and Sonia and moving up towards Jane. 4th and 5th ks were hard and slower than they should have been - more hanging on than anything, Erin got up ahead and Hannah and Catherine ended up passing me with about 150m to go. But I was tired and done at the end and felt like I'd given it something today, much more so than the past two races. Now to do it faster...
