Notes

Planned session called for a run at rpe15 (70% mHR). I'm yet to figure out my mHR, but working on a range from 170 - 180 bpm 70% range would be 119 - 126 bpm. To round things out 130 bpm was the figure. The overall average was 134 bpm and I reckon running any slower I'd be going backwards.

An interesting thing is that at the start I maxed out at 188 bpm and my watch kept alerting me that my hr was over 169 for five minutes. After this period (see graphs) my hr settled down to what I would call normal. This same thing happened last Thursday.

My left foot niggle is beginning to not be a left foot niggle; strapped it all the same. The niggle was more pronounced right at the start for the first 5 minutes and then wasn't an issue. I wonder if there is any correlation between that and the higher than normal hr.

After run, stretching for about 5 minutes then hot/cold therapy in the shower (7 x 30/30 secs hot and cold) on legs. I noticed I was a lot tighter after my run than I was after my 2 hour cycle ride yesterday.
