Beautiful day for a run. The fields out to Merriam's are overgrone, there are some dangerous fallen trees on the path (which the Park Dept couldn't care less about), but the purple flowers are just beautiful. The path itself, in all it's simplicity is beautiful, when evrything is in full bloom--very nice!! Saw Tommy on a stationary bike (He had a pin put into his foot) before I ran--tried to say hi to his cows...but there weren't out. I'm terribly slow, which is very disheartening as Ben is running in the low eights in CA; however, I'm healing and getting better--and for that alone I need to be happy!
