It wasn't two intervals, it was actually 10x400 with 400 cool downs. Estimate I averaged 89 seconds per 400. THe cool downs seem a little fast but then again I transitioned to the speed workout during the recovery. But I felt good. The shoes were awesome, it really helped my form. BTW, i'm in the middle of recovery from a stress fracture on my foot. It sucked that I left my shoes at home when I showed up to Track Practice and drove off with my tail between my legs, but man, this was AN AWESOME workout!! Definitely the best speed workout on a treadmill. Even the overall time was close to what I'm supposed to be doing for tempo. Just an amazing turnaround on what could've been a disaster speed day. BTW! I did my warm up, strides, and dynamic stretching before the speed workout. IT WORKS!!! DON'T EVER DOUBT IT BECAUSE HISTORY SHOWS, IT WORKS!!! GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL!!!!
