Notes

Man it was HOT!!!! Knight riders with flat feet never really felt completely comfortable but decent. I'm not sure it made me faster than my beast, but then again, it was a HARD run! I ran as hard as I think I could. BUT... first mile was 7:15. TOO FAST! I slowed down all the way to an 8:09 4th, hot, and painful mile, but was able to slightly pick it up at mile 5. So my 7:36 goal was a little ambitious, but I'm happy with my 44 second PR improvement. My goal for continuing training for the mile race, is to keep running easy with the weights, but slower, and find more time to run outside.
