Salesianum Invitational - Brandywine Creek State Park, DE
Course with the worst hills of the year (and thus the slowest times) - still, I love it.
Ran pretty well, for the first mile I started a little slow, but then worked up to pass people all the way until the hills started. Ran great up the first hill and on the first main downhill following it, but after that I got a little discouraged and started slowing down. Got passed by a fair amount of people on the incline following the 2 mi mark. Finished strong, but think I could have done a little better. Was hoping to get a better time, but it still was a 1:30 improvement from last year, and 2:30 from 10th grade.
Varsity finished 3rd as a team (beat North Penn by 1 point! They were missing their top runner (Brad Miles) but we were missing Sam Hibbs). Won ourselves some free t-shirts!
