Towpath was a swamp. Raritan River drenched my feet at all the overflow points. There was a snake on the towpath larger than a foot that I passed in the first mile. In mile 7 I had an encounter with a baby fox which would have been cute if I wasn't worried about the mother. Because of the flooding there was no place for the fox to exit the towpath and he was walking at a snails pace towards the end point of my run. So I just paced back and forth until he found cover. Overall was happy to get in the miles.
