Notes
Ran the same route as yesterday but from a different direction. Saw the family of Killdeer farther down the dirt road doing the same evasion tactics to lure me away from the chicks. They were safe and secure 30 yards from where I was running. Farther down some Barn Swallows were hawking insects in the young corn. Got a good look at them with their forked tails. Saw a Mississippi Kite and heard a Bluebird and a Painted Bunting. Spring is here!
