Was greeted to the 3rd sighting in a row of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker circling an Oak tree. When I got to Sunview Lake I saw a Great-blue Heron, a Song Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow and a Hermit Thrush. Run was great at an uptempo pace. Got dark pretty quick two days before the Winter Solstice. Good to be alive.
