Broke my goal of 60 miles today. Cold at the start but warmed up and had a great run. Lots of Grackles and Cowbirds flocking. Heard a few Red-winged Blackbirds. Scared up a Sharp-shinned Hawk in the first mile. Hadn't seen one of those in a while. The planet Venus was shining brightly. Great way to start the holiday weekend.
