Well, this was a surprise. I wasn't planning on running this weekend, but today I woke up and just felt like the 'Recovery Week' of p90x was not giving me a solid 'burn'. So, something came over me, and I just put on my running stuff and hit the streets instead of yoga.
Take the HR with a grain of salt. I forgot to wet the contacts prior to running, so it was all over the place.
Overall, I am super pleased! There was much less 'jiggle' in my body, I definitely felt tighter as I ran. Plus, it is pretty clear that I am getting lighter...I didn't feel like I was giving 110%, and I still got close to one of my best 5K times!
p90x is certainly doing something good to my body...this was a good barometer...
