1mi WU; dynamic stretching; 45min WAVE TEMPO, broken up into 5min segments of alternating between (6:48 - 6:52) and (6:17 - 6:21); 1mi CD
Was feeling good earlier today, and the weather was looking ideal so I asked coach if I could do tomorrow's tempo today if I felt fine once running. He agreed, Which I knew that doing it today would be ideal since I work both jobs tomorrow. It was still gorgeous out after work so I set my watch to automatically do the workout knowing If I wasn't feeling it I could just leave it on warmup the whole time.
I got going and felt decent so I decidedto give it a go. Plan was a wave tempo, alternating every 5 minutes between 6:48-52 and 6:17-21. I was a little off but the effort was there and I'm really pleased how this went especially consideRing Sunday still on my legs. Averaged 6:35 pace for the 50 minutes of tempo work.
