Loved this run. It was 30 degrees when I headed out so I was freezing at first but I always warm up about a mile in. I'm really surprised the first 2 miles were so slow because I felt like I was going a little faster than normal to try and warm up. It's amazing to me how that pace would feel like I was absolutely crawling if I was doing a cool down but feels normal when I'm just warming up.
HR monitor spazzed as usual but settled down a couple of miles in.
I did one stride in mile 3, one in mile 4, and two in mile 5.
I was kind of expecting this run to feel sluggish because I did some strength stuff at the Y last night but I felt great. It went by so quickly and I really enjoyed it.
