Last run before the marathon!! Ran around the airport hotel. Had no idea where I was and ended up having an absolute MONSTER hill in mile 2/3. Hence the 167 max HR! It gained something like 200 feet in a short time. Also being by the water, there was a lot of wind.
First time I used the live track feature so Millard could know where I was since we were in an unfamiliar place. Pretty cool!
This was a really nice last run before the race. Running somewhere new really helped me not scope how my body was feeling and overanalyze it so much. I don't have any preconceived notion of how I feel on each rise and drop so I don't have anything to compare to. That being said my body felt a lot better. Less tight, my hamstring feels fine, my glutes feel fine.
Nervous about tomorrow but looking forward to it, too.
