Why do I run: Personal challenge, escapism and health/fitness. I am a semi-serious runner: in most races I aim to finish in top 5 or 10 % and compete against my PBs. |
Why I started running: My wife signed up for a half Marathon in Thailand and I joined her. I had run a bit all my life, but always short, fast runs on my own for fitness, never in a race. Racing added a dimension of challenge and atmosphere/community, which I found addictive! |
