Come back run. Not too shabby considering I was hurting and walking at mile 3. Pain in the left ankle/shin accompanied by feeling of the leg just collapsing beneath me had me considering phoning Bill for a lift home, but that would involve dragging the kids out of bed so I continued on up to Discovery Park intending to cut through and straight home. Once on the trail strength seemed to return to the leg and I found I could run again so I just kept on going. Ran a few loops, and then usual route home along Magnolia Blvd wit no further issue. Sun went down on trail, glad I thought to take my headlamp.
