Dan Buys 2019. Nick Hird (who is never wrong) had me at 4:17.78 but I will go with the official Sinnott results time.
Got off the line really well and was able to pick my spot in 4th behind Vegan, Sebaz, and Big J. Just tucked in and went for a ride. Apparently we were 30/33 the first 400 and maybe 2:08-2:09 through halfway. (So I probably even split). Got around Jonah right around 800/1000 I think as Sebaz took the lead and clipped off a 31.5 that lap. My part 3 I was starting to hurt but knew I was fit enough to stay in it. I think I got dropped slightly going into a quarter to go and just tried to hold onto my form and finish off a greatly executed race.
Pretty cool to PR. Happy with tonight. Shows I am on the right path. Still got a long way to go to get to where I want but got a nice benchmark tonight. Hi James.
