800 DMR leg CCIW Indoor at Carthage. Got the baton in first after great legs from Lodi and D Nelson. Went out in 28 and 58 for 200/400. At about 300 an Augie kid passed me who I found out after the race was Dan Popek, a 1:52 guy who went to Minooka. I originally went with him but he was flying so I just ran my own race. Went through 600 in 1:29 or so and was closing on Popek the last 100 but I couldn't quite catch him. AJ ran great and split 4:20 and got the Augie anchor but Wheaton put in their 4:10 miler as their anchor and they ended up winning by 2 seconds or so. Really wanted to win but we ran a great team race and covered the event which was the plan going in.
