Notes

Same route as last year. First mile was 5:55 with Chase. Second mile was 5:33 with a little downhill. Felt really good and smooth and was ready to make a move but my shoe came untied. I just left it and didn't really press that much. I didn't want to stop if I really didn't have to. Chase stopped to poop at Hudson Park and I continued. Got caught at the light for about 30 seconds (only stop of the tempo) which gave me an opportunity to tie my shoe real quick before finishing back up the hill which I felt pretty strong on. Solid warmup and first part of the workout.
