State Prelims 4x800 2014. Forget what I have said in the past about disappointing races, this takes the cake BY FAR. Never probably going to get over this one. Justin ran a shitty race from the back and handed off to me in last. I was 30-40 meters behind the leaders at that point and it was pretty much over. Was able to get one kid at the end but it didn't matter. We didn't get Mike in a good position and you can't really blame him for what he split. In all honestly, we should have switched the lineup and ran me or Charles lead off. So many regrets from this race it sucks. However, I am so honored to run this at the state meet with my guys, it just sucks we couldn't get it done. Let Milner down which sucks a lot. Blows this was my last official race in an Oswego East uniform. I could not have asked for a better team to run with the last 4 years. The group of guys we had are truly my family and I wouldn't change anything about it. Sucks that I really only had 1 great season in my eyes and it sucks to end it on such a shitty note.
