800 at GVSU. Was in the first (fast) heat with Chris. Only 6 in our heat so I was in an ally with only one other guy which was nice. Got out in good position in third with Chris in the lead. He took it out decently quick and we went through 200 in 27.x or so. I felt really smooth the next 300 and was ready to make a move down the backstretch heading into the last 200. But when we hit the curve I had nothing left and just tried to hold on and finish. I am definitely not use to being that anaerobic and it showed the last stretch where I was tying up pretty damn bad. Was dead afterwards and laid there for a while. Kind of frustrating with my part 4 and a little frustrated by my time but 2 seconds faster than I opened last year which still is solid even though I wanted a little faster.
