Just an absolutely devastating way to end my HS XC Career. Nobody ran great and I particularly ran like absolute shit like I have all season. Nobody got out well and we weren't near the front at all. We basically just sat in th middle the whole race. We got 9th and this was the worst feeling ever. I don't think I have ever been so depressed. To work so hard for something and just have it slip right through your fingers is awful. I couldn't have asked though however for a better team to run with and these last 4 years have been so memorable even though I really haven't had a successful season by any means. On to track now where I want to go out with a huge bang and I know I have the ability to run state times in the 800 and 1600. From a team standpoint the 4x800 should be gunning for All-State and the team overall should be looking for a SPC championship. That would be pretty sweet to get both XC and Track. Time to start working my ass off and remember days like today are going to push me because I never want to experience somethig like this again.
