Illinois Intercollegiates. Really disappointing race again. The race went our pretty slow with the shitty conditions (rain and wind - nothing crazy though really during the race) but it was pretty muddy at certain points on the course. I felt terrible on the blowout before the race but great after that on the ensuing strides. I felt fine through maybe 1.5 miles and was in a pack with a lot of guys but soon after that my hamstrings got super tight and then it was my quads and soon after my lower back again. I don't know why this keeps happening. I never feel buried or overly tight/sore that normally comes after workouts. When I came across the line I was shocked that I ran this slow but times across the board weren't fast by any means. Just want to race to my fitness/potential for once in cross country.
