Lewis Twilight. Really fucking weird meet. It was really low energy - felt like a junior high meet. The race went out slow. Jimmy took the lead as the Fleet Feet guy and Chavez had no desire to lead. I think we were 66 and 66 for over 2:12 at 800. I was ready to kick pretty hard and try and win. I really think this was the best 4 parts I've had all year. The FF guy took off at 400 and I tried to stick on him and Chavez but the FF guy dropped Chavez and I was trying to real him in. I was feeling pretty tired from Saturday and my last 200 was pretty rough. Frustrating because I know I should have been able to close with the FF guy but I was definitely tired from Saturday. The last 100 was rough, it was pretty windy on the homestretch today. Nice to know that I finished right behind a guy who has ran 3:58 and 1:56 already this year, but I know that I am better than him. Another small step in the right direction though.
