Notes
Last collegiate race. Was in the 4th of 5 heats. Knew it was going to go out fast and only had 75 mins or so after the 1500 but I wanted to race one more time. They did two waterfall starts for 10 guys, and I was hip number 7 so I was on the outside of the first waterfall. Immediately put myself in the back and didn't get caught up in all of the bumping. Was chilling right off the back but I was hurting. I could tell it was decently fast. Turns out it was the fastest I've gone out in the 800 all year... down the backstretch I really started feeling it. At 250 to go I was just off Brendon, but then everyone really started kicking. But then I was owie. The last 100 I really just tried to hold it together and enjoy the last race of college and soak it all in. But I was owie, so I really didn't enjoy it that much. Still a decent race and a decent double. I know if I was fresh I could have been up there with Brendon and Amiri.
