Zionsville Allcomers Track Mile (1609m)
16mph headwind on the homestretch, was never going to be pretty. It was the worst. I'm guessing without wind, I would've been around 4:35. My watch didn't take my quarter splits, even though i had it set up that way, but we went through the 800 in about 2:15... for some reason, the guy was calling our splits at the Mile line instead of the finish line.
I am still a little fatigued from Monday's workout, but that could be in my head.
3rd Place.
Mitch Sanders was first in 4:37, 2nd was Derek Bischak at 4:40 also, just a step ahead of me. Derek went 4:32 three weeks ago at monumental, and Mitch is in mid 4:20s shape.
2 more shots at sub 4:30, July 4th Mile in Terre Haute, and then July 27th at the all comers track mile.
