Zionsville All Comers True Mile Race

3rd, I led the first 600m, Drake Sterling passed me at that point, then Derek Bischak, I held 3rd the rest of the way. Scott breeder was right behind me and finished 4th. Right leg just wasn't turning over, and legs felt heavy. Gonna make an appointment with my chiropractor or Terry for next week to work out some kinks in my piriformis/glute/alignment and see if that'll help. If I don't get worked on soon, I'll be on the verge of getting hurt.
Not too happy with this race, very discouraging. but maybe that's because I'm tired and leave it all on the track during my tuesday night workouts, which is better than holding back i suppose. These are just little races i've sprinkled in and I can definitely tell my fitness level is greater than it was mid May when I signed back on with PBT. So they've helped. This was the last race of the All Comers Meet, so next up is PB5 on Aug 5, possibly crossroads half marathon in terre haute september 16th, then Monumental Half Nov 4th, which is my main goal race.
