8th Annual Sankt Niklaus 5k Lauf.
I was hungover for this, I had a Christmas party to attend the night before for work and you know, free alcohol.
They changed the course again, this time it was an out and back on the cultural trail. There were a bunch of guys ahead of me that I had assumed were in the 5M, but then one guy turned around and so he already had a lead on me. Unfortunately since it was out and back and on the trail, there was a lot of slowing down because people going OUT weren't getting over to allow us to go BACK. The lead guy got in the street, but I didn't see him do that (cutting technically), and so that solidified his lead. I just kept running and yelling at too many people. So he won by about 30 seconds. Stupid on my part, but not bad for 20 miles a week and hungover I guess.
