first 5 miles around 5:48 pace. Overall avg after 8 miles was 6:10 pace. 5 miles into my run, I stopped to pick up Brad, but he wasn't done working quite yet, so I put down another 3 miles until he was done. Pace slowed down after that.
During those solo miles, I was thinking about pace at Chicago, wasn't thinking about pace at the time. Still trying to come up with a good strategy.
