It was a windy race, around 15mph headwind most of the way back. My hip or hamstring didn't hurt during the race, but they did immediately after. My lack of training leading up to this race killed me, I had no endurance, but I hung on as long as I could. The humidity got to me after awhile and I regret taking that last water cup around mile 11. I felt it sloshing around and couldn't hold it in any longer, had to throw up.

What really helped was a girl on the Annex team. If she hadn't come up beside me during the track, it would've been a long second half of a race. She helped me keep a steady pace. She got 5th overall woman.

Not ideal weather in my opinion, but still better than last year by far.

The next day, I went to Hot Yoga with Alicia. I didn't know what I was doing most of the time, but she said I did pretty good. I sweat a few glasses of water, I'm sure of it. Massage this Wednesday.
