bought new shoes, went with the wave rider 16's. The 17's are out already, but didn't have my size. tried on the Mizuno Precision, they felt ok, but they were ugly. felt less pain in the wave riders. I stopped wearing wave riders after WR13, they changed the shoe up and wasn't all that great. I just needed a neutral trainer to switch things up a bit. Also tried the new Adidas Zoom or something with the weird cushion. Immediately felt pain in foot, so that was a no.
