As Dan LaPlante would say, changing lives one mile at a time at the Lady's Speed Stick Half Marathon. Was spot on, but alone, through mile 11 and passed the woman that eventually took 4th overall. Decision time. Do I put on my douche-nozzle hat and pass her to finish "spot on" but along or do I work with her to help her ascend the last hill of the race before coasting in ahead of me? Easy answer, as I left my douch-nozzle hat at home (along with my pace sign).
