Had the bright idea of trying to run 7:30 pace. Got through first mile and it hurt too much so had to back off to 8:00. Did that for 7 miles and then decided to try 7:30 again. Felt much better, so kept it there for 6 miles and finished the last mile at 7:03 pace. Legs feel like they're not mad at me anymore.
