Very nice race and happy to have shattered my goal of break 1 hour. Couldn't quite catch the 1st place guy as he had the lead for most of the race with the exception of the probably the first 1/2 mile when I surged ahead of the pack. Looked at my watch and saw I was at a 5:15 pace, which was way too hot for me given my goal of 5:55 pace. Scaled it back and let him pass. Maybe I'll get lucky and have the speedier guys stay home for one of these races so I can actually win one of them.
