Steady start, being passed on the trails and started behind a lot of people. Picked it up on the catchwater and was running well there, passing quite a few runners. The steps to Shek O Road were a killer, and I was barely moving on the Dragon's Back, but once on the trail again started moving up and finished quite strongly. Warm day, could have done with a salt tablet, sore nipples. Took 2 gels, 1 at 16km and 1 at 24km, which seemed to work ok.
